Beautiful runnable forest, newly mapped for the NISSC.

This is an OY with the following Courses;

Red Long        6.7km    Scale 1:10,000
Red Medium  5.4km    Scale 1:7500
Red Short       3.9km     Scale 1:7500
Orange            4.0 km   Scale 1:7500
Yellow              2.9km   Scale 1:7500
White               2.9km   Scale 1:7500

Bring a compass:  The courses are in a forested area so a great place to try your compass-based orienteering.

Usual forest hazards such as falling pine cones, rotten logs and possum holes but good running.

Terrain: Mature pine forest on undulating sand-dunes with good visibility.

This event used the same course as the North Island Secondary Schools Champs - they are excellent.
