Course 1: 3.6 km, 90 m climb
Course 1 is planned as a standard sprint race, aimed at the more serious orienteer, with a winning time of about 15 minutes or slightly more.
Course 2: 2.5 km, 70 m climb
Course 2 is of the same style but caters for those less fit and slower.
Course 3: 2.0 km, 55 m climb
Course 3 is aimed at casual orienteers wanting a good ramble around the area.
NOTES
1. Take care crossing all roads within the Gardens. Give way to traffic.
2. Brick paths and wooden boardwalks may be very slippery. Please be cautious if running on these.
3. Areas marked as olive green are strictly OUT OF BOUNDS and must not be entered.
4. They may (will) be other, non-orienteering, users in the Gardens.
Virginia Lake Start times: 14:00-15:00
Course 1: 3.3 km, 75 m climb

Course 2 is of the same style but caters for those less fit and slower.

1. The map scale courses 1 and 2 is 1:4000, for course 3 it is 1:3000.
2. Course 1 uses local roads outside the Virginia Lake Reserve. Take care crossing all roads and give way to traffic.
